Docu-series

Hopefuls, executive produced by Kristy Cooper,  was a four part docu-series for PBS in California following the community-building work of an afterschool youth boxing program. Led by Coach Ian Franklin, the series showcased the lives of three of the program’s top boxers: “Terrible” Terry Washington, “Killer” Kenny Lobatoz, and Charles “Lolo” Harris as they navigated between the ring and the streets on their journey to Olympic gold.
